Occupational health and safety (WHS) take assessment and migration of risks that may impact people's health, safety, or welfare in the workplace. WHS required the organization to eliminate risks, and if that is not applicable, then the risks are required to be reduced and controlled.

By a 4-weeks study on the WHS, I learned the benefit of working in a health and safety environment for the company and employees. It is important to continue promoting the WHS at the workplace because it acts under the 2011 work health and safety. It benefits the brand value, creates a productive environment, and increase employees' satisfaction and willingness. Building WHS is also an ethical code.

You and I also play an important role in a health and safety workplace. Because we first need to be reasonable for our own health and safety. And pay attention to the action that may affect other health and safety conditions. More importantly, we need to comply with relevant policies and help the company create a health and safety culture.

Apart from participating in health culture, I believe I could also contribute to risks management. It means that I would be part of the process when dealing with a new hazard. The first step is to stop the hazard; for example, put a warning sign next to the hazard, then talk to my supervisor or file a hazard assessment report to the administration team, and constantly review the hazard's resolution.

The organization is also expected to be pro-active at creating a safety culture. Taking the example of Navitas Professional Services, they provided information, training, and supervision to employees to ensure they work in a health and safety environment. Navitas tailored a WHS policy to its visitors, contractors, students, employees according to the law. The police provide the advice, information, education and training with the work health and safety that aims to establish and maintain the WHS of people and the environment. Moreover, Navitas place the warning signs in a conspicuous place, so you can find them in time when you need to use them.
